After two years of live music extinction, our four cats of the Morning call jazz band made it worth it by recording a new album.
Original compositions of their four voices and explosive horns arrangements, melted in a very diverse swing and blues instrumentals.
Their songs will carry you from joy and laughter to sorrow and tears with a great musical interpretation, perfectly fitted to each and one of their pieces.
Putting back the art of barbershop of American jazz standards on stage, the Morning call jazz band hits it again today with an exclusive and talented blend of an acoustic jazz quartette and harmonized vocals album: "A Morning walk"

Reverent Juke, a band that only makes sense live, or almost, is happy to present its first live album. It is there that the group unfolds, that its energy is ignited, that the fire takes.
Captured at many European festivals, the songs have been selected to remember all these moments of sharing, laughter, shouting, madness, sweat, sweetness, complicity, love.
Are you ready to spend A Night With The Jukes ?
They are fantastic! Mathieu Najean (saxophones), Timothé le Maire (trombone), Guillaume Gillain (guitar), Andrew Bolton (double bass) and Laurent Vigneron (drums) are five young musicians with overflowing energy who willingly share their passion for swing inspired by composers and musicians such as Jelly Roll Morton, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Sidney Bechet, Count Basie ...
Talented instrumentalists, they also feast their voices when they sing - in chorus or solos - in the style of Barber Shop (Mills Brothers).
Fully charged with an explosive and accurate sense of rhythm and melodies, they will enchant you with their music!
Listening to this album like discovering a great vinyl record you never knew existed. Except it's from today. Original compositions. Familiar, but fresh. Old, but new.
The "Mat Najean Jazz Band" was born in January 2019 in Paris. Surrounded by excellent swing musicians from the Paris jazz scene, Mathieu Najean wants to play his compositions. Through his music, always rooted in swing and blues, he wants to explore the different styles of swing: a rag like Jelly Roll Morton, a fantasy like Duke Ellington, a blues like Count Basie...
Reverent Juke is a badass and very versatile Swing Band that can go from early and New Orleans jazz, to the essence with hard swinging 30's style, all the way up to the swinging and bluesin' fifties.
With an explosive rhythm section built on the swinging drums of Tom Lambrecht, the bouncing bass and singing of Andrew Bolton and the wild stride of Renaud Crols, Reverent Juke sets the swing on fire with its three blowers, Martin Bolton on clarinet, Olivier Faber on trumpet and Mathieu Najean on reeds, blowing their horns on the fiery flames till they drop.
